MY STORY.
PROFESSIONALLY…
In 2006, after a decade of working in administration and I.T. roles for various companies, I decided it was time to leave the corporate world to start a family. This came with its challenges as I felt my whole identity was tied to my career and without a job, who was I?
My former career had been a diverse one, with both managing and supporting several businesses within a broad range of industries. This experience provided me with a combination of transferable skills, with the most notable being my great attention to detail, superior organisational skills and my love of systems and procedures.
After leaving the workforce, it didn’t take me long to find a way to put these skills into action again. When my first born son was six months old, I started an online venture for supporting and promoting works-at-home parents by way of offering advertising for their business via social media and a dedicated website.
This went from a hobby to a business very quickly and sparked my passion for helping other mums in business to be seen online. I later sold this business for a tidy profit and moved on to my next business venture.
Skip forward a few years to 2020, my idea to launch Charmed Digital came after I witnessed a boom in the number of mums starting new businesses from home. This was possibly due to COVID-19 causing upheaval in their world and them wanting something to do during isolation.
I noticed a recurring issue where most of these mums had the passion and drive to get their business off the ground but struggled when it came to the marketing of their products/services online.
Prior to launching, I could often be found in business-related Facebook groups answering the same questions about websites, social media and SEO over and over.
I soon realised this was obviously a service these women needed so why not create a business around it? I had the skills, experience and after recently resigning from my full-time role at an agency, I had the time – and so Charmed Digital was born!
PERSONALLY…
I’m a mother of three boys who are the why behind I do what I do. I’m also a total Apple™ nerd, lover of good coffee and (half) world traveller. When I’m not working I can be found cooking up a storm or chilling with my iPad watching Netflix.

I understand the limitations placed on mums who decide to stay at home to raise their children and therefore I work with you to accommodate your business needs at your pace.
I like to offer a more relaxed style of doing business so it’s no problem at all if your little one decides to pop into our Zoom chat to show me their new toy!
